The Hypnotist

You WILL give me the toast!

You know you want to!

C'mon, I've only had five cups of dry food
for breakfast this morning.

Awww, how come this never works!

Sigh.

No worries, and slobber, Rory

  1. Rory! Where is the pathetic line of slobber? That really enhances the effect.

  7. Hi Rory, it's all in the technique. This is how you should do it. (1) Stare at the piece of toast (2) Stare at the human (3) Glance back and forth between the toast and the human (4) Drool on the human (5) Just jump into the human's lap (5) catch toast in your mouth as it flies up (6) Run or use the express wt* method, get Stella to jump at the human, distracting the human and you grab the toast. Remember to share with Stella.

  10. Ok mate, here's the trick: Move slightly forward, lean over the plate of toast & human and then DROOL! You've gotta be quick though. When human jumps up in disgust, grab the toast! Hehe! Deccy

  11. Rory, I thought you were doing a good job and for sure you would get some toast. Do not give up, I think some of these tips will work for you!

    Your friend,

    Murphy

  12. Yep, Max would agree it's all in the eyes. If that doesn't work, step forward, quick shake of head give maximum projection of slobber. If well timed it will land on the toast and they have absolutely no alternative than to give it to you.

  27. The deal we negotiated with mama is that if she's eating at the table, we don't beg or even drool and we don't get peep food. But if she's eating in the living room [like your hu-brother with the toast], all bets are off. We crowd around and drool and beg and we always get some of whatever is on offer. Sadly, mama almost never eats in the living room.

  30. Rory...did you forget to drool too? Sometimes you really need to bring it on to get the family to "get what you want"....better luck next time!

  31. Ah ah ah poor Rory, you still have to learn the technique... Apply yourself you will see that the results will start to appear sooner than later!!!!
How are you all? How is your human?
Well, from what I see you and Stella are really well :) glad to see that!
ps my human says to say hi to your human
    Ciao Lucille

  32. Hee! Hee! Rory - I've tried that trick too...it's particularly effective if you add some drool as well - especially if you let the drool trail down from your mouth, over their knees! :-)
