I have an ouchie on my neck.

Hello Everybuddy, I had to go to the Vet yesterday with Rory.  He had his last immunisation and check up and he is just perfect.  He was a very good boy and after his check up with Miss Anna he just fell asleep on the floor at her feet.

Then it was my turn.  Mum found a lump on my neck about a week ago and it has gotten bigger.  Miss Anna had a good look and felt it all around and said I have a tumour.  It is a Histiocytoma.  She is virtually certain it is a benign tumour that some young dogs get. Miss Anna said they sometimes go away themselves, or they can be cut out.

Here is a photo of my ouchie.  I bumped it an hour ago and it bled a little but it didn't hurt me.  I didn't even know.  Mum gave me cuddles and cleaned me up.

Miss Anna  is the best Vet in the world (well in our part of the world anyway).  We love her to bits and trust her 100%.  She helped our angel sissy Kara to the Rainbow Bridge and Mum says her compassion and dedication for the animals she cares for is outstanding.

Over the next three weeks we will monitor my ouchie.  If it changes or gets bigger I will go straight back.  Otherwise in three weeks Rory and I are going to be de-sexed. At the same time I will have my ouchie cut out.  I hope it doesn't hurt.  Mum says it definitely will not cause I will be having a good sleep and won't feel a thing. Mum says we will both be together, will have a little sleep with Miss Anna and then come home.  We might have a sore spot but this will pass and mum says she will spoil us rotten.  Yay.  That sounds good to us.

Anyhoo, after that bloomin' ol news, we had our first play in our back paddock.  My brother had to whipper snipper the long grass.  We need a ride on mower, but lack of the paper money can be a bummer (woops, mum says I musn't swear).  It was heaps fun and we ran and ran.  Even Rory.

A doggie across the paddock barked and wanted to come and play.  You have to look carefully and bigify near the middle behind the sheep.  We totally ignored the sheep but they are friendly fellows.

After all that, we only had the energy to do this.

Last but not least, Rory sends this photo for everyone celebrating Halloween.
Well bye for now.  Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.

No worries, and love, Stella and Rory

Friday Friends

Hi Everybuddy, do you ever have one of those days where you just seem kinda rubbery?

C'mon Penny.  We promise we won't play chasey again.

We've been helping in the garden.  You know what it's like when everything goes beserk in Spring.  We may have overdone this one.  No worries. It will grow again Mum, we promise.

We also wanted to introduce our friend Sam.  We are having trouble making our links work so if you can't click on his name, his address is www dot mydogsam01 dot  blogspot dot com.  He is a great friend and we love to visit him.  He is the fastest thing on two wheels.  Howdy Sam.

Wishing everybuddy a great weekend.

WE'RE BACK - Oh you didn't even know we were gone.

Hello Everybuddy

Our big brother is a STAR.  Our computer got some really big sickie issues and was going to cost lots and lots of money.  The computer man said he would fix the thingymajig, sort out the whatchamacallit, and rotate the hoozywhatsit.

My brother said no flippin way.  He worked hard , said lots of words that mum said we must never repeat, and  now our computer is all better.  Hurray.  Now we can visit all our friends again.  Sorry if we missed anything important.  Let us know if we did please.

So as today is Saturday, we went to the local oval again, had a good ole time but mum forgot the flashy thingy and only had her phone camera.

This is the best photo of the lot.  We will call it

'Slobber Saturday'.
Good on you Rory.

Better give you a photo of my little brother too.  He was pretty tired after our play at the oval even if it was only for 15 minutes.

Some friends have asked what our lizard sissy looks like.  Here she is, a Bearded Dragon.  She eats live crickets and plenty of fruit and vegetables.  Her name is Lenny.  I know, I know, that's a boy's name.  For the first year we thought she was a he.  Wrong call obviously.  Now we know she is a girl.  She is 5 years old.  She is about 35 cms long (14 inches).

Well that's all for now.  Have a great weekend.

No worries, and love,
Stella and Rory

P.S.  To Bart and Ruby, we have been thinking of you and your family.  Hugs to you all X X

Moving House

Hello Everybuddy, we hope you are all having a good weekend.

The other day Rory and I heard Mum and Dad talking about moving house.  Blimey, we thought.  Moving house.  The only thing we had heard about moving house was when Mum was talking once.  She said next time they moved it would be when the kids booked them into the 'old folks home' down the road.

Well, me and Rory thought we would have to become Therapy dogs.  I said to Rory, don't worry about your slobber cause old people usually dribble too so that will be No Worries.  At the old folks home, they would probably give us lots of treats and we might get to sleep on someone's bed.  Oh well we thought, as long as we are with Mum and Dad.

We were all prepared for the big move.  Then what should turn up but this.  WTH?  A new dog house for us?  Yippee.  We get to stay here.

Hmmm, looks interesting.

Here is Dad and James moving it around the back.

We had to help supervise.

Mango Master, if you are reading this, my Dad and brother actually put the roof on ALL BY THEMSELVES!
We were very impressed with their skill.

I was so excited I had to have a good ole shake.

Shall we go in Rory?

Can you come in James?

We love it.

Don't worry about the brick under the dog house.
It is a temporary measure cause the paving is very uneven.

Tyler came for a visit next day, and he fit in too.

One last photo to show you how my little brother is growing.
Notice my Mum's great invention.
A $2.00 garden pot with a $2.00 salad bowl inside.
She knows how to get a cheap raised food bowl.

Have a wonderful weekend everybuddy.
